Just a quick post to show off another holiday card I made using the pti holiday tree set and the awesome paper that Debbie did a tutorial on here. I used the same ingredients from my last card but I added the flourish from the vintage labels set to the bottom. I also used a sentiment from the awesome vintage ornaments set stamped with fresh snow ink on the kraft cardstock. Let me interject here how much I am in love with the fresh snow ink! I held off buying it because I already had a white from SU but I finally bought it in my last pti order mainly to match all my other ink pads as I have made a new organizer for my pads, markers & re-inkers. Well I decided to use it on the last few projects that I made and I am so impressed! It is a little mooshy at first but I love the way it sticks out on the paper. It also has some resist properties when you stamp over it with another color like I did for my tree. I stamped the solid tree in spring moss and stamped over it with one of the flourishes in the fancy flourishes set in fresh snow. When it dried I stamped the leaf portion of the tree over it in dark chocolate and the effect is really cool! I have heard that the fresh snow did this but until I tried it myself I didn't really get it. All supplies are papertrey ink except for the pink rhinestones (hero arts) and I used a cuttlebug die for the snowflakes and a spellbinders petite oval for the sentiment.
thanks for looking and have a great day!
