This is the first time I have participated in the papertrey ink blog hop. The theme this month is tags or wrapping paper so I went with the tags. I mean it is pretty much a no brainer with the great tag sets that papertrey ink puts out. I used mainly the 2009 holiday tag collection with the exception of the large snowflake from the 2008 collection. I really wasn't sure what colors I was going to do until I looked at all the scraps left over from Dawn's latest Raspberry Suite Color Challenge and thought "well why not"? So here they are with the latest color challenge as my inspiration..........
What I love about these tags is that they are large enough to use as a focal point on your card but small enough to use your scraps to make. They look great even without the snowflakes I added. I die cut the snowflakes with a cuttlebug die in all the different colors and just switched them all around. I added a few pearls and brown silk ribbon as the tie. These came together really quick once I figured out what I was going to do. Probably took me about 20 minutes for the eight tags.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Lisa
