It's blog hop week at Get Sketchy sponsered by Get Sketchy, SRM stickers & Scrap n'Art magazine.
If you came from
Lenet's blog you are on the right track. If you came any other way you need to go back to
Get Sketchy and start there. Why? do you ask? Because a prize is involved and it is the only way you can get the secret sentence.
It works like this..... start at the Get Sketchy blog and the first name on the hop will be listed there. Make sure and leave a comment at the Get Sketchy blog because there will be a prize pack for one lucky winner!!
Make sure to visit each and every blog on the hop.
On each blog you will find a SECRET WORD!
Make sure you right them down in order,
to make a sentence.
Make sure you leave a comment
for your chance to win a SRM Sticker Prize Package.
There will be a link to email them.
Email them the SECRET SENTENCE,
for your chance to win 1 of 2 One Year Subscriptions to their Magazine.
On to the sketch for the week.........
And here is my take................
Okay, okay so I didn't make the little pendant thingy's. I tried but it was not flowin' the way I thought it should. So I used my all time comfort shape ... the butterfly of course. I positioned the wings so they would mimic the triangle/pendant shape. Sometimes you have to think out side of the box. I stamped the lace border from my new favorite technique tuesday lace border stamp. I used a "thank you" sticker from SRM stickers. I cut the flower off of another sticker image and layered it just under the sentiment.
So that's it. You need to head on over to
Sherri's blog to continue the hop. Have fun hoppin' and have a great day!!
Oh and by the way my secret word is:
SCRAPN'ART
