card patterns sketch #18

Hi all!! Here is my card patterns sketch for the week. I flipped it once again.. mainly because I wanted to use this image that I received from unity stamp co. the other day. I love birdcage stamps and this one is so cute. I decided to spotlight the bird.. I stamped two and punched one out with a circle punch (the square looks good too) and matted it with a slightly larger circle, colored the bird with a mix of my copics and colored pencils and sponged around the edge with sweet blush and then mounted the punched image over the main image. I used a spring moss ribbon mainly because I wanted a little more color and there is a tad bit of the green in one of the papers I used. The rest of the deets are in the recipe below.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!!

Lisa

  5. Lisa, I just ADORE that image from Unity! It's been on my must-have list but I haven't had a chance to get it. Love the soft look of this card.
