card patterns #59

Hi all! Here is this weeks sketch over at the card patterns blog.............

And here is my take...................................

I finally got around to using my new delightful dahlia set from paper trey ink. I love this set and have been exploring the possibilities. The font is very elegant and I love the smaller size. I used the new botanical background set to make the background on the spring moss card stock and the little sheet music stamp that you can barely see is from the October Afternoon Thrift shop stamp set. I die cut the dahlia and stamped the image and colored with my copics. The leaves I die cut out of the spring moss dot paper from the pretty pastels pack. The patterned paper is from October Afternoon. Have I told you how much I love both October Afternoon's new releases "Thrift shop" & "Fly a Kite"? L.O.V.E. them!!! I think I pretty much bought stock with how much I  purchased :)  I also used the new giga guidlines impression plate from paper trey ink on the oval. I wasn't too sure about the impression plates as I'm a folder type of girl but I do love the pattern and the impression is nice.

I'm off to clean up my mess..... It's amazing the mess I make when I make a card.... Just one card and it looks like a tornado went thru!!!

Later friends!!

Lisa
